Taapsee Pannu is Indian Film actress and model born on 01 August 1987 in New Delhi. She is mainly known for her work in South Indian Film Industry. She did her schooling from the Mata Jai Kaur Public School in Ashok Vihar, Delhi, then she completed her graduation in Computer Science Engineering from the Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology in New Delhi. she worked as a software engineer and later began her career in modeling after she got selected for Channel V’s talent show Get Gorgeous through an audition. She won the title “Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face” and “Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin” at the 2008 Femina Miss India contest. She made her debut in acting with K. Raghavendra Rao’s movie ‘Jhummandi Naadam’. Then she made her debut in Tamil Cinema with the movie ‘Aadukalam’ co-starring Dhanush in 2011. In 2015 Taapsee was starred opposite of Akshay Kumar in Neeraj Pandey’s film ‘Baby’. In 2016 she was featured in Shoojit Sircar’s movie ‘Pink’ with Amitabh Bachchan. In 2017 She appeared in the movie Judwaa 2 directed by David Dhawan.
